Pacific Northwest Missing Persons Project (PNWMPP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the search for and recovery of missing persons whose cases have gone cold in rural and remote locations of Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana.

In May of 2021, families found PNW Bigfoot Search on social media and began requesting our assistance, keeping an eye out for their missing loved-ones belongings. This simple request quickly ballooned into a much bigger project and grew into the 501(c)(3) Nonprofit it is today.

Why is this work important?

On average, more than 2,400 people get lost in the wilderness of the Pacific Northwest every single year.

Of those 2,400 people, 92% are recovered alive, 6% are recovered deceased, the other 2% vanish without leaving a trace.
